Celtic Knotwork door knocker
Overlapping Celtic knotwork with counter-twisted ring forming the knocker. A combination of modern methods and hand working make this possible. There are no welds,  rivets are used to join the seven pieces. Waterjet cutting is employed for the precise fitment of the knotwork pieces, which are then heated and formed by hand to undulate and actually overlap each other.
